The TFT screen is a thin film transistor type liquid crystal display, also known as “true color” (TFT). TFT liquid crystal has a semiconductor switch for each pixel, and each pixel can be directly controlled by dot pulse, so each node is relatively independent and can be controlled continuously, which not only improves the response speed of the display screen, but also can be precisely controlled Display color gradation, so the color of TFT liquid crystal is more true.

TFT liquid crystal display is characterized by good brightness, high contrast, strong sense of hierarchy, and bright colors, but it also has the shortcomings of relatively power consumption and high cost. TFT liquid crystal technology has accelerated the development of mobile phone color screens. Color screen mobile phones basically support 65,536 colors, and there are 261,300 display, and some even support 16 million color display. At this time, the advantages of high contrast and rich colors of TFT are very important.

TFT Features:

Since TFT is an active matrix LCD, the arrangement of the liquid crystals has memory and will not return to its original state immediately after the current disappears. TFT also improves the STN flickering (water ripple)-blur phenomenon, effectively improving the ability to play dynamic pictures.

Compared with STN, TFT has excellent color saturation, restoration ability and higher contrast ratio, but the disadvantage is that it consumes more power and costs more.
